About Ilia the Storyteller

Love. Magic. Passion. Possibilities.

Ilia has discovered over the course of her days that these are the themes of her life. These themes are what she loves, what get her excited, what make her cry. They are what give her chills, what keeps her on the edge of her seat, but most importantly, what she wants to give back.

Growing up in Ohio, as a Puerto Rican African American girl, many values were instilled in Ilia Jackson: always have respect for your Elders, never let anyone talk down to you, God and family first. Culture and tradition were staples in her upbringing. But one passion her mother shared with her was her love of the big screen. From Disney to Sci-Fi movies, this exposure allowed Ilia’s imagination and belief in magic to bloom. As her love for alternate universes and “what could be” grew, Ilia wanted to create stories, worlds, and magic of her own. She began her storytelling journey writing everything from romance novels, to fantasy realms, to her very first screenplay in the hopes of sharing her special kind of magic with the rest of world. Ilia currently resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, son and two dogs. She is 31 years old.
